My heart may be heavy, my soul may be worn,
But still, I gather strength to wear a gentle form.
A smile creeps up, though tears may be near,
A beacon of hope, to calm every fear.
In darkness, I search for a glimmer of light,
A reason to smile, through the endless night.
I find solace in joy, in laughter and glee,
And let it uplift me, wild and carefree.
No matter the storm, no matter the pain,
I'll wear a smile, like a shield to sustain.
The weight of the world may try to bring me down,
But still, I'll rise up, with a heart turned around.
So let my smile be a ray of sun's grace,
A symbol of strength, in a fragile place.
For even in shadows, beauty can thrive,
And a smile can bloom, and stay alive.
