A Mother's Grief" Happy we came, our couple brig | English Poetry

""A Mother's Grief" Happy we came, our couple bright, Like Lakshmi and Narayan's light. But pride consumed him, trust was lost, Our world shattered, at what a cost. My tiny hands and feet so small, Will always be there, to answer your call. Your father hides, but won't be gone, I'll be your strength, to carry on. We'll work and strive, with heads held high, Though some may judge, we'll never die. You're young, my love, but don't despair, Your mother's love, a constant care. Through trials deep, we'll see the light, I'll be your guide, with all my might. His reign of folly may be done, But under heaven's watchful sun, We'll find our peace, and start anew, My love for you, forever true. ©Santosh Jangam "
