"Parched Hope"
Darkened skies weep, fat drops descend,
Unseen paths where their journeys bend.
Anticipation hangs heavy in the air,
Each drop a bead of sweat, a farmer's prayer.
A gentle breeze whispers secrets untold,
As clouds dance, painting the world in gold.
The wait ends, a test by nature's hand,
Pour, heavens, revive the parched land.
Life gasps, earth cracks with thirst's despair,
A steady downpour, a cleansing prayer.
Emerald cloaks adorn the earth anew,
Seeds awaken, dreams take flight, bathed in dew.
