Oh God!
let me have a pair of wings
to fly down the past,
where I could not live
but cherished all along.
Let me have a pair of eyes
to look and appreciate,
all that is beautiful and romantic,
the smile of a child
to the scenic beauty of the earth,
the bewitching looks of a girl in her teens
to the dainty cheeks of a newlywed.
Let me have a heart
to feel and reciprocate
love in all its colours,
beauty in all its forms,
that I sadly missed
over the years
Let me have a mind,
that never roams and
hangs on to the object of love,
so fulfilling and beautiful
in this world of glamours
