Rich people focus on their assets while other people focus on their income.
For example, McDonalds may not make the best hamburgers globally, but it owns the most valuable intersection and streets in America. An individual needs to mind their business, they should not focus on their employer’s business instead of finding out how to become their boss and nurture their business. For this you don’t need to quit your job, but start buying income-generating assets.

Don’t spend whole life working for others. Lot of time people confused between their profession and their business. When Robert asked people, ” What is your business?” and they reply, ” I’m a banker“. then he inquired them if they own the bank. They respond, ” NO, I work there“. Their profession may be a banker, but they still need their own business. Minding your business doesnt mean start a new company, but it revolves around your assets column, not in income statement.

Start working on your financial literacy and get the essential skills that will serve your own business when the time comes. Later on, your profession will fund your business initially, do not quit your day job until your business shows sustainable growth. You could start building your asset column by investing in: Stocks, bonds, income-generating real estates.
