Heart aches, mind seeks past's embrace,
Can lost love's footprints ever be traced?
Your silent presence, a gentle sway,
Carries me through each lonely day.
Wind whispers your love's sweet refrain,
But to whom can I confess my pain?
Why does your face ignite my soul?
Wounds reopen, taking their toll.
Love's chamber veiled in a hazy plight,
Grant love a chance, set my spirit alight.
Without you, my soul fades away,
Lost footprints, where did you stray?
