For every Hindu family, it's a thing of pride, But | English Poetry

"For every Hindu family, it's a thing of pride, But for Muslims, it's laden with rules to abide. I remember the day they told me to grow up, I was just a child, not ready to sup. Restrictions placed on my innocent heart, Telling me to act mature, tearing me apart. No playing, no time with papa, no comfortable clothes, Feeling suffocated, as my freedom froze. Periods came, a natural part of life, But no one explained, causing inner strife. I hate the pain, the blood, and the mood swings, But more than that, I hate the lack of understanding it brings. I was 10 when I went to , And 10 when I awoke, feeling deep. How can I be expected to mature so fast, When my youth is something they want to cast? But I will break free from these chains, And find my own path, despite the pain. For every girl who's been told to grow up too soon, Remember, your worth doesn't lie in a forced cocoon. ©Bitterone_me"

For every Hindu family, it's a thing of pride,
But for Muslims, it's laden with rules to abide.

I remember the day they told me to grow up,
I was just a child, not ready to sup.

Restrictions placed on my innocent heart,
Telling me to act mature, tearing me apart.

No playing, no time with papa, no comfortable clothes,
Feeling suffocated, as my freedom froze.

Periods came, a natural part of life,
But no one explained, causing inner strife.

I hate the pain, the blood, and the mood swings,
But more than that, I hate the lack of understanding it brings.

I was 10 when I went to ,
And 10 when I awoke, feeling deep.

How can I be expected to mature so fast,
When my youth is something they want to cast?

But I will break free from these chains,
And find my own path, despite the pain.

For every girl who's been told to grow up too soon,
Remember, your worth doesn't lie in a forced cocoon.
