Gazing through the window of my car Half asleep, h | English Poetry

"Gazing through the window of my car Half asleep, humming the song Suddenly A familiar lane enraptured me. It was the street I used to Walk down in my teens. The street was once reminiscent And still powerful to Send me into nostalgia. It's been so long. The familiar lane was not familiar anymore. The road where I used to go to escape from the world, Is now like a stranger to me. The bare tree I used to Have a long conversation with, I can't find it anymore. It was not the chilly winter morning, But the overwhelming joy Of being there once again Left me quivering. The street whose beauty couldn't be resisted, even by the moon. Is now a concrete jungle. The silent road is now lost in cluster. And in the crowd, My mind was anticipating to see the sixteen years old girl Roaming around, talking to Nobody but herself Accompanied by the moon ©the unknown writer❤️"

Gazing through the window of my car
Half asleep, humming the song
Suddenly
A familiar lane enraptured me.
It was the street I used to
Walk down in my teens.
The street was once reminiscent
And still powerful to
Send me into nostalgia.
It's been so long.
The familiar lane was
 not familiar anymore.
The road where I used to go to
 escape from the world,
Is now like a stranger to me.
The bare tree I used to
Have a long conversation with,
I can't find it anymore.
It was not the chilly winter morning,
But the overwhelming joy
Of being there once again
Left me quivering.
The street whose beauty couldn't be resisted,
even by the moon.
Is now a concrete jungle.
The silent road is now lost in cluster.
And in the crowd,
My mind was anticipating
to see the sixteen years old girl
Roaming around, talking to
Nobody but herself
Accompanied by the moon
