Whatever was, is now, will be, all that is only consciousness. Nothing stands apart from this. The intellect, the senses and their objects are all rooted in consciousness. Waking state, dream state and hibernation also depend on this consciousness. Just as clouds form and disappear in the sky, the universe is seen in that infinite cosmic being, both manifest and unmanifest. Just as a cloud formed by the heat of the sun hides the sun itself from the sight of Nanda, pride, though born of consciousness, hides that consciousness itself. When the cloud is gone, you can see the sun. Brahma can be seen when pride disappears. This is the final flood. This is the final flood of the soul. Moreover, what the sages declared is that everyone experiences the flood momentarily - the eternal flood. Because there is constant creation and destruction. All the components of the creation of the universe, i.e. sparks and waves, are momentarily created and destroyed. Even if you give up the foolish belief that you are born and will die. All this is the slumber of the ignorant life. It is only the mind that destroys creation. The mind is also the child of Maya. The body and its states of birth and death are illusions.
