One day, I bumped into......

One day, I bumped into a stranger in a library who reached the same book, which I was pulling out from the book shelf. Yes, we all see the same situation in movies, but the difference here was that the stranger was neither a woman nor a girl but an elderly man of around 70 years, and the surprising part was that we both pulled the book together. It's neither spiritual nor scientific, and not even literature. It was Mark Twain's classic, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." I looked at him and let go of my hands as I said,
"I'm sure your grandchild will love it." He slowly turned around, smiled, and placed his hand on my shoulder before responding,
"Me too!!! I have read it many times, and the more I read, the more I get younger. And then I walk down into memory lanes to join the adventure at the forest in our native village with my good old friend, just like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn." I could feel the
energy in him as he was describing his childhood days!!!

I still remember the good old naughty childhood days, and one particular incident keeps lingering in my mind. I used to always quarrel with one of my classmates. Teachers, however, try to keep distance between us; by seating us very far, we somehow manage to quarrel. Once teachers placed us in different sections, we still found time and space to quarrel. This time in front of the whole school. So the teachers thought it'd be better to keep us in the same class. By doing this, our audience will be restricted to our classmates only. Each time we fight, teachers try to bring peace between us, make us shake our hands, and instruct us to be good friends, saying, "Let this be a fresh start."
God only knows how many fresh starts we have witnessed together!

But at the same time, if the thief steals and then realises that the person from whom he stole is, in fact, handicapped, then his heart melts, and he returns that person's belongings.
Over that, he places a bunch of currencies and leaves the place.

People do tend to behave similarly in such situations. I want to say that people are strange and have a good heart regardless
of their type of work and the circumstances
that led them to whatever they are. Deep inside the heart of an arrogant person, or as we call it, "the villain," there is a soft corner where a change in that person's attitude is visible when touched by an external force.
