#poem "Spring's Lament"

My beloved spring has bid adieu,
Taking my love, my heart's hue.

Verdant leaves and blooming grace,
In my eyes, serenity's place.

Moments blossomed, fragrant plume,
Heaven's nectar, earth's perfume.

Dewdrops filled my heart anew,
Carpeted earth in vibrant hue.

Youthful Sun's joy did spread,
From every leaf, words were bred.

Life's new melodies took form,
Music's charm in every storm.

Sun, moon, stars in bright array,
Dreams forgotten found their way.

Emotions bathed in tender light,
Memories etched, soul's quiet fight.

Spring's departure, lingering pain,
Yearning for his touch again.

#poem "Woman - An Embodiment of Power"

Each step she takes, a testament to her power,
Wisdom flows from her like a boundless shower.

Her heart, vast and serene, a guiding light,
In her spirit, freedom takes its flight.

Her voice, a melody that resonates strong,
Her will, unyielding, against all wrong.

A modern woman, forging ahead with grace,
Every challenge met, she bravely face.

Motherhood's love, a force divine,
Strength and compassion in every line.

With a heart as vast as the endless sky,
She conquers all with a resolute eye.

From dawn to dusk, her work never ends,
A sculptor of life, where love transcends.

#poem **"Tranquil Tempest "**

Restless mind, body seeks calm,
Each moment besieged, peace is a balm.

Thoughts whirl, storms within,
Seeking solace, where to begin?

Yearning for peace, shackles bound tight,
Past moments haunt, future's plight.

Taming the mind, a fleeting quest,
Breath held in fear, heart in unrest.

Lost in the maze, footsteps stray,
Body weary, soul in disarray.

Restless mind, seeking repose,
In the storm's eye, tranquility rose.

#Hope
Wolf protects me,
The lion in my door,
scary isn't it?
But they are more humane than the monsters outside.

Sun in the day and moon in the dusk,
are the only advent of the light though
more brightens than the worldly invention of the light.

A shield of mine stops me,
I thought
Fled from it, with inspiration and joy,
The moment I was outside
I found the bitten pieces of mine.

Winds of fortune Forty years this man worked Always pushing to the limit Slaving to the grind daily For his job he was committed He was at his wits end recently Living expenses had increased His paycheque stayed the same To say the least he was displeased One day after a long day at work He stopped to get some gas quick The cashier handed him his change He said one lotto ticket he picked His hope had faded slowly away Not in a million tries would he win But soon he began scratching it And after the last scratch he grinned His smile stretched from ear to ear A boisterous woo-hoo hoo came out His card was the winner of a million He laughed and cried and he did shout His worries are all gone now from him His truck , house, loan , debts are paid His daughter can attend a good college All because of a lottery ticket he played ©Schizology

Forty years this man worked

He was at his wits end recently
Living expenses had increased
His paycheque stayed the same
To say the least he was displeased

One day after a long day at work
He stopped to get some gas quick
The cashier handed him his change
He said one lotto ticket he picked

His hope had faded slowly away
Not in a million tries would he win
But soon he began scratching it
And after the last scratch he grinned

His smile stretched from ear to ear
A boisterous woo-hoo hoo came out
His card was the winner of a million
He laughed and cried and he did shout

His worries are all gone now from him
His truck , house, loan , debts are paid
His daughter can attend a good college
All because of a lottery ticket he played
